" Each and every one of us can make changes in the way we live our lives and become part of the solution ". Believing on this, Veda Vyasa D.A.V Public School, Vikas Puri organised an Environment Week - Prakriti, with enthusiasm. The motive of the three days long celebration was to sensitise children on the consequences of global warming and the need to maintain equilibrium in nature for the sake of posterity. The day one, began with an array of activities for different classes. Nature photography was undertaken by XI and XII. Newspaper making activity was held in classes IX - XII. Class VI and VII students prepared beautiful posters and ' Kavita Path' on the topic 'Paryavaran' was held for class VIII. Bulletin boards were decorated with the theme 'Innovative Techniques for a Greener World'. On day two, class XII students made banners and class XI designed graffiti to generate awareness among children. Best out of waste activity was organised in VI to VIII classes believing in Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Dr. B.C.Sabat, chief guest on final day set an example by planting a sapling. To conclude the celebration and educate masses in order to bring out green revolution for a better tomorrow, a rally was organised under the guidance of the Principal ma'am, Mrs.Chitra Nakra.
